VDS BACKS VAN GAAL

Edwin van der Sar experienced a career as a Manchester United player that spanned over 5 seasons and now that the champions of the Premier League have recently gone through a switch in the managerial role of the club, the former Dutch shot-stopper voiced his opinion about having Louis van Gaal as the next coach.

“I will say more about Louis and United once his appointment is official. But I have made it clear here before that Louis van Gaal is the best manager I have ever played for’’. Edwin van der Sar said.

Bayern Munich’s Franz Beckenbauer is another figure who has expressed his idea regarding the potential of having Louis van Gaal as the successor of David Moyes.

‘’He would be perfect for Manchester United because he is an internationally experienced coach and he understands English football. I don’t know if it’s a rumor or if they’re really trying to sign Van Gaal but if they agree with Louis I think it would be a good part of the future. He won a lot of titles so he is experienced and he is ambitious. He has the personality. He has everything.” Beckenbauer declared.

Louis van Gaal has already been in charge of top clubs around the world including: Barcelona, Ajax and Bayern Munich. The Dutch manager is currently in charge of Netherland but will become a free agent when the 2014 World Cup concludes which gives Manchester United enough time to appoint an interim manager until the upcoming World Cup finalizes.

The 62 years old manager is a top candidate on taking charge of Manchester United in the upcoming season and has the full support of Edwin van der Sar as he stated that Louis van Gaal is the best manager he has worked with even ahead of Sir. Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti.
