SUAREZ LINKED WITH BARCA EXIT

According to a report Luis Suarez has been linked with a move away from Spanish giant Barcelona. The Uruguayan international is strongly linked with a return to former side Ajax. Some reports even suggest that the Eredivisie giant has made an official bid for him.

Ajax CEO Edwin Van Der Sar, however, has poured cold water on the rumours. He made it clear that no bid has been made, but the club is open to signing the former Liverpool striker.

It is no longer a secret that the Camp Nou outfit are planning a squad revamp after a poor season by all standards. Suarez has been continually linked with the club’s exit and manager Ronald Koeman has stated that the striker is not in his plans.

Suarez has said on different occasions that he has not been told by the club to leave and he is determined to see out the remaining twelve months on his contract.

Ajax, AC Milan, Juventus have been linked with Suarez. But according to a report Ajax are leading the race to sign the former striker.

Juventus are in the market for a striker as well. The Old Lady has terminated the contract of Gonzalo Higuain. Last season Higuain was the only recognized striker in the club. His departure signified that the club are in need of a new target man. Alexandra Lacazette of Arsenal has been linked with the Turin side, although the Old lady are yet to make any official approach.

Suarez joined Barcelona from Liverpool in 2014. He is the sec9nd on the list of all-time top scorer for the club with 198 goals in 283 appearances.
