Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg is being linked with Manchester United to succeed the incredibily successful Van Der Sar.
Oranje VI reported this week that the Holland No1 is being lined up by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson for a move to Old Trafford in 12 months time.
Ferguson sees Stekelenburg as the ideal successor for his veteran Dutch keeper Edwin van der Sar, who is expected to retire at the end of the coming season.
Stekelenburg is aware of the talk and would jump at the chance of a dream move to United.
